About Us
History
- 1962: Orville Buskerud founds Buskerud Construction as “roadside development” for national highway system
- Ownership transitions from Buskerud family to Sweetman Construction Company to current owner Kari Karst
- 2009: Buskerud Construction acquired Terin Corporation for expansion into concrete paving
- November 10, 2012: Buskerud Construction becomes BX Civil & Construction
- In order to fully unify our team to realize our vision for the next 50 years, we decided that changing our “brand” would signal to our employees, our customers, our community and our industry that we believe what we do matters.
- We are proud of our history and proud of who we are today
- We respect and honor the Buskerud name by retaining the “B” in BXCC
